Our Home-Ed Hub is an exciting, in-person learning adventure operating during term times in our Hub HQ at Emmanuel Chapel in Exminster.
Our creative classes operate on Tuesdays each week in morning and afternoon 3-hour blocks. To ensure a rich and interactive experience, we cap attendance at 10-12 children per session, led by Dez (BA HONS QTS) and at least one Teaching Assistant.

Tech-Driven Learning
Computing, Music & RE
Students are assigned their own premium equipment for the sessions; a Macbook Pro, iPad and all the instruments they need. In the session they creatively engage with two of the subjects that prove traditionally difficult with Home Ed families; Computing and Music. The children also engage with a bible story during the mid session snack break.
It is the perfect environment for children who thrive in smaller groups and love creative and tech-driven learning. While parents enjoy a window of space in their week, the children thrive in our private classroom facilities. The final 15 minutes each week see parents/guardians joining us to engage with the learning that has taken place! A Bespoke Curriculum
Developing Dez's award winning computing curriculum for the St Christopher's MAT, our bespoke curriculum has been designed to be able to interact with home at every opportunity; allowing parents to not only see what learning is taking place but enjoy continuing and developing that learning at home. Each parent and child shares a Google account with which the child can safely and securely navigate their learning journey with Hub and Home in seamless contact and communication.
We offer a hugely creative and interactive computing curriculum that includes e-safety, animation, coding, programming, game creation, music production, and graphic design.
Explore Creative Computing
Students have the unique opportunity to engage with a practical music curriculum and learn a variety of new instruments, including the ukulele, recorder, drumkit and piano/keyboard.
Music & Instrument Learning
Each mid-session snack break we engage with a Bible story; often one of the fab 'Superbook' episodes spread over 2 weeks.

Joining the Hub
Term Commitment & Availability
Once you have engaged with us for a few weeks and had a chance to decide that we are the right fit for you - commitment to the Homeschool Hub renews on a half-termly basis. 'One-off' taster sessions are highly encouraged first, giving your child the perfect opportunity to explore the hub and see if it is right for them. Because places are strictly limited, payment is required in advance of each half term.
